Meet with a balloon expert at the lodge the day before your flight. This meeting is to brief you about the next day’s sky adventure. You will receive the pickup time, so get ready to wake up early and be picked up around 5:00 a.m.

Hop on a Land Cruiser that will take you to the launch site. Arrive in time to see the sunrise and the balloon’s ascent. After a safety briefing, the balloon takes off.

Skilled pilots guide the balloon, flying close to rivers, hippos, and giraffes. Capture incredible aerial wildlife images as you fly low. The ground crew follows you in vehicles, ensuring your safety.

The pilot lands the balloon near a game trail. Balloon experts will drive you to a special bush breakfast area where you will be treated to champagne and a delicious plated breakfast.

The dry season from June to October is perfect for a Serengeti hot balloon safari. During the rainy season, some of the companies still offer the tour but the actual flight will depend on the weather conditions. If it is too rainy or windy, the flight may be rescheduled or cancelled, and your payment will be refunded in full.
