This 8-day Classic Tanzania Safari takes you through the highlights of northern Tanzania’s renowned parks. The safari begins at Tarangire, which is noted for its high animal population, and continues to Lake Manyara, which is known for its tree-climbing lions. Visit the Serengeti National Park, Africa’s best park, which has over 3 million large mammals, and the Ngorongoro Crater, which has a year-round resident population of mammals. Your safari also includes a visit to a cultural site, a meeting with the Maasai people, learning about their culture, and your safari ends to visit the Hadza and Datoga tribes.
Arrive at Kilimanjaro International Airport. Meet and greet with your local guide and transfer to your accommodation in Arusha town. Check in, relax, and rest to recover from your journey.

After you eat breakfast, leave from Arusha and drive for about 2–3 hours to get to Tarangire National Park. When you arrive there, you start your first safari drive in Tanzania.
Tarangire is famous for having lots of elephants, big baobab trees, and different kinds of animals like lions, giraffes, zebras, and various kinds of antelopes. You will have lunch in the park. After the safari, go to your lodge close to Tarangire National Park for dinner and to spend the night.

After breakfast, leave your lodge and head to Lake Manyara National Park. This park is small but lovely, and it's famous for its tree-climbing lions.
As you enter the park, you will see a big group of baboons and herds of elephants. A dense forest that makes the park lush and home to over 450 types of birds.
While you are on the safari, your guide will take you to a spot where you can have a picnic lunch. Then, continue the safari until late in the afternoon.
In the late afternoon, after a game drive transfer to Karatu town for dinner and an overnight stay at Marera Valley Lodge

After you have breakfast at 7:00 AM, you will go on a drive to Serengeti National Park. This park is the oldest in Tanzania and has one of the most complex ecosystems in the world. The plants and animals here are pretty much the same as they were hundreds of years ago.
In the Seronera Valley of Serengeti, you can see big predators like lions, leopards, cheetahs, and hyenas. You will also spot elephants, zebras, giraffes, wildebeests, and many other animals that can be seen any day you go.
After your safari in the central part of Serengeti National Park, your driver will take you to your camp for dinner, where you spend the night.

Today is all about going on a full day of safari in the Serengeti, which is one of the best national parks in Africa. The Serengeti has a lot of amazing things to see. Such as exciting safari trips, beautiful sunsets, and many animals you can spot in just one day.

After breakfast, leave the lodge for a half-day safari in the central part of Serengeti National Park. Moreover, on this day, you also visit the Maasai people in Ngorongoro and learn about their culture.
During your visit, get to see traditional Maasai dancing, observe how the Maasai people live day-to-day in their village, and have the chance to buy locally made jewelry. Furthermore, Maasai villages are made up of huts built with natural materials arranged in a circle to keep their cattle safe. When you arrive at the village, both young and older people will welcome you with songs and dances. Additionally, some of the dancers will impressively jump very high at times, and they will even invite you to join in the dancing.
You will also be invited inside one of the village houses called Manyatta, which are constructed using cow dung and clay plastered over a stick framework. The visit will last about 30 to 45 minutes, and at the end, the villagers may show you and offer their colorful beadwork and other homemade items for sale. While you are visiting the village, you can support the women by purchasing their products and taking them home as souvenirs for your loved ones.
In the evening, drive to Karatu town and stay at Marera Valley Lodge for dinner and overnight
Right after breakfast, around 8 a.m., you'll leave the lodge and head to Ngorongoro Crater. It takes about an hour to get to the main entrance gate. Once you're registered, you drive up to the rim of the crater, and from there, you'll descend into the crater. The crater is big, more than 20 kilometers wide, and around 600 meters deep. Ngorongoro Crater is famous because you can find the Big Five there: buffalos, black rhinos, elephants, lions, and leopards. It's also home to many other animals, like cheetahs, zebras, hippos, serval cats, hyenas, and wildebeests.
While you are on the safari, your guide will take you to a place where you can have a picnic lunch.

In the morning, you have breakfast. You will pick up the packed lunch boxes ready for the game drive to Lake Eyasi. In Lake Eyasi, you will visit the cultural and natural heritage of the Hazdabe and Datoga. You will reach the remote plains where the Hadzabe hunter-gatherers live. You learn about their hut creation and how and why they move. Go for a walk to learn Hadzabe bush lore and the uses of different plants
In the afternoon, you will have lunch at the picnic site. After lunch, drive to the Datoga tribe. They are skilled and are known for their blacksmithing, beadwork, brass bracelets, and necklaces. They supply the Hadzabe tribe with arrowheads. Cattle are their most important domestic animals, though they also herd goats, donkeys, and sheep and raise chickens.
After your once-in-a-lifetime adventure, your guide will transport you to Kilimanjaro Airport, where you will connect to your international aircraft back home. We recommend booking a flight that departs after 6 p.m. on this day so that you have ample time to spend with the Hadzabe and Datoga tribes.
