After breakfast, depart from Arusha towards Tarangire National Park (approximately 2-3 hours' drive). Arrive at the park and embark on your first game drive in Tanzania.
Tarangire is known for its large elephant herds, baobab trees, and diverse wildlife, including lions, giraffes, zebras, and various antelope species. Enjoy a packed lunch inside the park. After the game drive, head to your lodge in or near Tarangire National Park for dinner and overnight.

A local coffee plantation tour
You will go to a locally owned and operated coffee plantation to learn more about the process of getting coffee beans from the tree to your cup. Try your hand at grinding and roasting beans by hand, then reward yourself with some great, fresh coffee.
Masai Village or Boma
A visit to a Masai Boma is a unique experience. When you arrive in the village, excited children and adults greet you with song and dance; at times, one of the dancers will gracefully jump up and down. The jumps are several feet in the air! You will be welcome to participate in the dance as well. You will then be invited into one of the village huts (called Manyatta), which are made of cow dung and clay plastered over a stick framework.
This is quite practical because the Masai have cattle herds, and the dung is always plentiful and free. One of your hosts will offer you an insight into Masai life; some of them may not speak English, but our guides will translate for you and the elders so that you may share stories.

Early breakfast, then depart for Ngorongoro Crater (approximately 2-3 hours' drive). Descend into the Ngorongoro Crater for an unforgettable game drive. After the game drive, drive to Central Serengeti (approximately 3–4 hours' drive).

After breakfast, set out on a game drive en route to Ngorongoro Conservation Area. The Ngorongoro Crater, a result of a volcanic eruption, holds UNESCO World Heritage status and shelters a diverse range of wildlife. Upon reaching the area, descend into the crater for close encounters with the "Big Five" and more. The picturesque Crater Lake, with its flamingos, enhances the enchanting scenery. Enjoy lunch at the picnic site within the crater walls. As the day unfolds, in the evening, make your way up the crater walls to Karatu town.

In the morning, after having breakfast, you will pick up the packed lunch boxes and get ready for the game drive to Lake Eyasi. Upon arriving at Lake Eyasi, you will have the opportunity to visit the cultural and natural heritage of the Hazdabe and Datoga.
First, you will reach the remote plains where the Hadzabe hunter-gatherers live. Here, you will learn about their hut creation as well as how and why they move. You'll also go for a walk, during which you'll learn Hadzabe bush lore and the uses of different plants.
In the afternoon, following this enlightening experience, you will have lunch at the picnic site. After lunch, the journey continues as you drive to visit the Datoga tribe. The Datoga are known for their skills, particularly in blacksmithing, beadwork, brass bracelets, and necklaces. They are also renowned for supplying the Hadzabe tribe with arrowheads. Cattle are their most important domestic animals, although they also herd goats, donkeys, and sheep and raise chickens.

After breakfast, firstly, drive about 7 a.m. to Lake Manyara National Park, passing through breathtaking views of the Rift Valley Escarpments. While on the journey, you can see Masai herding their livestock and goats. Just before you enter the park, you will pass through Mto wa Mbu, a small but active settlement known for its population of up to 120 clans and its lively, colorful environment.
When you arrive in Lake Manyara, upon arrival, enter the park and begin your game drive through the lush forest, then out to open grassland and the lake's side. This park's birdlife is a bird's-eye view, with several endemic species. You can also expect to encounter a variety of species, including impala, elephants, dik-dik, bushbuck, hippos, and, if you're lucky, the legendary Manyara tree-climbing lions. During your visit, enjoy a day of game viewing in Lake Manyara, complete with a picnic lunch. Subsequently, drive three hours to Kilimanjaro International Airport.
