ITINERARY

Day 1: Arrive in Tanzania Via Kilimanjaro Airport

Arrive at Kilimanjaro International Airport. Meet and greet with your local guide and transfer to your accommodation in Arusha town. Check in, relax, and rest to recover from your journey.

Optional: If time permits and you're not too tired, explore the vibrant local markets or take a short city tour in Arusha.

Day 2: Drive from Arusha to Tarangire National Park

After breakfast, depart from Arusha towards Tarangire National Park (approximately 2-3 hours' drive). Arrive at the park and embark on your first game drive in Tanzania.

Tarangire is known for its large elephant herds, baobab trees, and diverse wildlife, including lions, giraffes, zebras, and various antelope species. Enjoy a packed lunch inside the park. After the game drive, head to Karatu town for dinner and overnight.

Day 3: Drive to Central Serengeti National Park

After breakfast, begin your journey by departing from Tarangire and heading towards the world-famous Serengeti National Park. Upon arrival at the park, take the opportunity to enjoy a game drive en route to the central region, where you will have a chance to spot the "Big Five" (lion, elephant, buffalo, leopard, and rhino), in addition to other wildlife and bird species. Finally, check-in at your camp in central Serengeti for dinner and overnight.

Day 4: Drive from Central to North of Serengeti National Park

Today, you will continue your journey deeper into the Serengeti, driving towards the northern part of the park.

The northern Serengeti is famous for its annual wildebeest migration, which typically occurs between July to October. Witness the awe-inspiring spectacle of thousands of wildebeests and other herbivores as they cross the Mara River in search of fresh grazing grounds. Enjoy a full-day game drive in the northern Serengeti to observe the migration and its associated predator-prey interactions.

Day 5 & 6: Full Day in Mara River in North Serengeti

Spend two days immersing yourself in the incredible wildlife around the Mara River in the northern Serengeti, which is a key point in the annual wildebeest migration. This attracts predators like crocodiles and lions, resulting in spectacular wildlife viewing. Your expert guide ensures you witness thrilling river crossings and capture remarkable sightings with ease. After your wildlife adventures, return to camp for dinner and overnight.

Day 7: Drive Back to Central Serengeti National Park

After breakfast, it's time to bid farewell to the northern Serengeti. As you embark on your day trip back, head towards the central region of the park. Along the way, you can continue to enjoy another game drive. Allows you to traverse through different landscapes and habitats, further enhancing your wildlife encounters.
Finally, your adventure for the day will end as you arrive at your camp in central Serengeti, where you can look forward to a delightful dinner and a restful overnight stay.

Day 8: Drive from Serengeti to Game Drives in Ngorongoro Crater

Today, you embark on a journey, firstly, leaving the Serengeti behind and heading to the Ngorongoro Conservation Area. Upon your arrival, you'll have the incredible opportunity to descend into the Ngorongoro Crater, which is not only a UNESCO World Heritage Site but also a true natural wonder. Within this crater lies a remarkable diversity of wildlife, including the illustrious "Big Five."

Once you're inside the crater, your day will be filled with adventure as you enjoy a full-day game drive. Throughout this time, you can fully immerse yourself in the wildlife experience, using every moment to spot various animals and capture stunning photographs. Later in the afternoon, you will begin your ascent back to the crater rim, making your way to Karatu, where you'll savor a delicious dinner and enjoy a restful overnight stay.

Day 9: Visit Maasai Boma - Transfer to Kilimanjaro Airport

After breakfast, you will have the opportunity to visit a Maasai Boma, which is a traditional village, to learn about the rich Maasai culture and their way of life. During this visit, you can actively interact with the Maasai people, immerse yourself in their traditions, and perhaps even consider purchasing some unique handmade crafts as meaningful souvenirs.

Following this enlightening cultural experience, it's time to make your way to Kilimanjaro Airport for your departure flight. For your convenience, we recommend selecting an evening flight around 1700, allowing you sufficient time to conclude your safari on a relaxed note.
