7 Days Serengeti Wildebeest Migration Safari package is designed to enable you to witness the great wildebeest migration. You will be visiting a number of Tanzania’s famous natural sites, including Serengeti National Park, Ngorongoro Crater, and Tarangire National Park. The tours are held mainly between the months of July and October; through these months, the migration heads north, out of the central Serengeti. You’re in for an experience of a lifetime when you travel with us.
Upon your arrival at Kilimanjaro International Airport, you will receive a warm welcome from one of our experienced driver guides. Afterward, you'll embark on a one-hour drive to Arusha. Following your arrival in Arusha, you can check in to your lodge, and for the remainder of the day, you are free to explore the town at your leisure.

After breakfast, depart from Arusha towards Tarangire National Park (approximately 2-3 hours' drive). Arrive at the park and embark on your first game drive in Tanzania.
Tarangire is known for its large elephant herds, baobab trees, and diverse wildlife, including lions, giraffes, zebras, and various antelope species. Enjoy a packed lunch inside the park. After the game drive, head to Karatu town for dinner and overnight.

After breakfast, begin your journey by departing from Tarangire and heading towards the world-famous Serengeti National Park. Upon arrival at the park, take the opportunity to enjoy a game drive en route to the central region, where you will have a chance to spot the "Big Five" (lion, elephant, buffalo, leopard, and rhino), in addition to other wildlife and bird species. Finally, check-in at your camp in central Serengeti for dinner and overnight.

Today, you will continue your journey deeper into the Serengeti, driving towards the northern part of the park. The northern Serengeti is famous for its annual wildebeest migration, which typically occurs between July to October. Witness the awe-inspiring spectacle of thousands of wildebeests and other herbivores as they cross the Mara River in search of fresh grazing grounds. Enjoy a full-day game drive in the northern Serengeti to observe the migration and its associated predator-prey interactions.

Spend a full day immersing yourself in the incredible wildlife around the Mara River in the northern Serengeti, which is a key point in the annual wildebeest migration. This attracts predators like crocodiles and lions, resulting in spectacular wildlife viewing. Your expert guide ensures you witness thrilling river crossings and capture remarkable sightings with ease. After your wildlife adventures, return to camp for dinner and overnight.

After breakfast, you can go for sun-rise game drives for about one to two hours. Thereafter, you'll drive back to your camp for breakfast and pick up your lunch boxes. Then, continue with a game drive en route to the central Serengeti and Ngorongoro highlands, and then to the famous Karatu town for dinner and overnight.

The following morning, at around 6:30 a.m., we will set out on our journey to Ngorongoro Conservation. After driving for about an hour on the tarmac road, we will arrive at the gate. From there, we will continue to drive up to the Crater Rim, where we will pause for a few minutes to enjoy the breathtaking view of the Crater from this elevated vantage point
Next, we will descend into the crater floor for a full day of thrilling game drives. Ngorongoro Crater is renowned as one of the biggest intact craters globally, offering one of the most spectacular sights in all of Africa. It's home to all the big five: rhinoceros, lions, leopards, buffaloes, and elephants. Additionally, you will encounter other wildlife such as zebras, hippos, wildebeests, and hyenas. Bird enthusiasts will also delight in the variety of species, including flamingos on the Soda Lake, geese, storks, vultures, and various other bird families that can be easily spotted.
You will have a picnic lunch right on the crater floor before embarking on the evening drive back to Arusha or, if you prefer, we can drop you off at the airport for your convenience
